Our Story
Ocean’s Edge Capital was founded by Scott Simonich, a pioneer in the mortgage industry who created the first bank-mortgage broker partnership in the nation in 1994. After building and scaling multiple lending companies — including a nationwide operation with 27+ branches closing over $3 billion annually — Scott launched Ocean’s Edge Capital to return to what matters: personalized, relationship-driven lending.
Joined by Todd Seabold as Partner and Joe Simonich as Partner of Operations, the Ocean’s Edge team combines decades of executive leadership, capital markets expertise, and hands-on origination experience. Together, they deliver a level of certainty and service that large institutions simply can’t match.
